Tucked deep inside the Sariska wilderness and reachable only by driving through the reserve itself, Kakwari is known as one of Rajasthan’s most silent forts — abandoned, unrestored, and rarely crowded with other visitors. Walking its quiet ramparts before breakfast is as much about the approach as the fort itself, a last pass through the jungle that shaped your whole stay, with a tiger sighting still possible until the gate closes behind you.
