About The Journey
On the outskirts of Jodhpur, Mharo Khet offers you a different way to experience Rajasthan, away from the familiar forts, palaces and desert excursions. Spread across forty acres, this regenerative farm grows more than 110 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers on land that was once largely desert. You’ll come here to see how that transformation has taken place, but also to spend time within it.
Your days at the farm might begin with a walk through the fields, continue with gathering ingredients for a meal, and unfold through local crafts, music and conversations with the saajhis and artisans who are part of the farm's world. Ten cottages, each named after a raga, give you a place to return to at the end of the day.
For four days, the farm becomes your window into another side of Rajasthan, shaped by its land, its people and its everyday life. You’ll also enjoy an intimate Sufi and folk performance by Manganiyar musicians beneath the lantern-lit Rohida tree.
We invite you to step into Mharo Khet and make it your own for a while.
